The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) qualifies your child to receive free financial aid for college. It takes less than an hour to complete, and Achieve Atlanta can show you how. Read the important information below and then sign up for one of our clinics.
Complete the FAFSA today to get your family some of the $28 billion available in FREE MONEY FOR COLLEGE. If your child is an APS student, Achieve Atlanta can show you how—simply register for a FAFSA clinic below.
Both the student(s) and parent(s)/guardian(s) need to attend the virtual FAFSA support meeting.
We strongly recommend that families plan to attend this session through a laptop or tablet, not through a phone. However, if you do not have access to a computer or tablet and must use your phone, please still sign up and indicate that you will be using the Zoom phone app during the meeting.
Items to have with you during the clinic:
- 2019 federal income tax forms and W-2 forms
- Social Security Number for parent and student
- Permanent residency card (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
- Driver’s license (if you have one)
The FAFSA opens on October 1st at https://www.fafsa.gov/
You must complete the FAFSA to apply for the Achieve Atlanta Scholarship.
