Food Resources

If you and your family are facing difficult decisions, the Atlanta Community Food Bank would like to help. Your family’s health is your first priority during this time; making sure they have plenty of healthy food is a huge part of that. As soon as you think you might need some help, we would like to encourage you to reach out to us. With the help of our community partners, we are here for you in several ways:

  • Text “FindFood” or “Comida” to 888-976-2232 to find local food partners in your area.
  • The Atlanta Community Food Bank’s COVID-19 Help Map is an interactive map listing all the food partners, including food pantries, school pantries and Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning meal sites.
  • Call (678) 553-5917 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for help applying for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), a federal program that helps millions of Americans put food on the table. You can use SNAP to purchase food from your local grocery store and participating farmers’ markets.

On Friday, April 17th, 2020: Achieve Atlanta, in partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, hosted a food distribution for Achieve Atlanta Scholars and their families. More than 600 family members of Scholars received a variety of groceries.
