Postsecondary Success Coach | College AIM

The Postsecondary Success Coach for College AIM will work directly with our current postsecondary students and will report to our Program Manager, Postsecondary Success. Beginning this summer, and throughout the 2021-2022 school year, they will coach a caseload of approximately 100 students who have completed College AIM’s high school program and are now entering either their first or second years at technical, two-year and four-year colleges. For the ideal candidate, this work is personal, and providing the framework for incredible young people to succeed is deeply important, gratifying work.

College Advising Corps (CAC)  | College Advisers

Both the Georgia State University College Advising Corps and the University of Georgia College Advising Corps are hiring advisers to serve in Atlanta high schools for the 2021-2022 school year. College advisers receive extensive training which allows them to effectively guide students and families through the college admission and financial aid process. Applications are currently being accepted with a closing date of June 11, 2021.

Reconstruction  | Instructor

Reconstruction Instructors build relationships and teach an authentic curriculum illustrating the brilliance, resilience, and magic of the Black Community in service of promoting positive identity formation and academic growth with their students. Instructors challenge students to meet higher expectations, create an environment that feels more exciting than a classroom, and empower students to use what they’ve learned to improve themselves and their communities. Instructors work 5-20 hours per week for $20 an hour and get to be part of a founding team on the cutting edge of creating positive social change.  

Instructors are currently being hired for Summer 2021.
