Craft College Internship | Gaylor Electric
Our summer internship is ideal for anyone interested in starting or increasing their experience in the construction field, specifically in the commercial electrical industry. Candidates will perform diverse and challenging tasks throughout their time with Gaylor Electric to gain valuable hands on field experience designed to broaden their perspectives in installing, repairing, and altering electrical systems.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be prepared to work in a construction environment including regular walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and working off ladders.
- Candidates will receive safety training in orientation.
- Regular “local” travel to job sites is to be expected, so reliable transportation is necessary.
Pay: $14.25-19/hr
Coordinates and manages the student success of the NCLEX preparation during and after the students completes the program. The individual in this position will assure the effective and efficient operation of the student needs, and the oversite of the process to ensure the student passes the credentialing exam.
Responsibilities:
- Active participant in ACEN, Curriculum and NCLEX committees (as needed) Administer proctored Predictor exams and retake exams for graduates.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate your students; and maintain the continuity and relevance of the program curriculum by meeting yearly for review
- Reviewing applications and “issues” for board applicants to help them get applications in a timely manner
- Tracking graduates for NCLEX Seating and Pass rates
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or 3 years experience
- Must possess professional license or certificate as is required by the state
- Expertise in interpersonal and oral presentation/written communication skills, as demonstrated by: data sheet, diplomas, degrees, transcripts, certifications, CVs/Resumes, and in personal interview
Pay: $19-25/hr
Internships and Co-Ops are an excellent way to provide students with an opportunity to develop real-world skills in an environment that encourages personal and professional growth. Gresham Smith accepts Civil Engineering interns from accredited schools in the areas of Engineering. Many interns have been offered continued employment as full-time employees after graduation.
Qualifications:
- Be currently enrolled in a full-time academic program at an accredited college or university;
- Maintain a good academic standing;
- Pursue a field of study that is consistent with Gresham Smith needs for intern assignments.
Students who hold F-1, OPT, or H1-B visas are eligible for consideration.
