Barry-Wehmiller is a diversified global supplier of engineering consulting and manufacturing technology for the packaging, corrugating, sheeting and paper-converting industries. You’ll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for all aspects of project execution
• Develop equipment design and specifications, design equipment support systems, and handle bid analyses
• Provide engineering solutions for continuous improvement objectives using industry standard tools and procedures (change control, ROIs)
• Convert information into project documentation and manage integration of packaging automation lines Lead project teams

Qualifications:

• Co-op or project experience with packaging lines, automation, or manufacturing applications (preferred)
• Co-op or project experience in the food, dairy, high speed beverage/brewery, pharmaceutical, or consumer products environments (preferred)
• Strong analytical skills and a basic understanding of project management fundamentals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD

Reporting to the President, you will support the identification and pursuit of construction and environmental opportunities, build key relationships, and contribute to our capture and growth strategies. Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and maintaining a capture pipeline by researching federal opportunities in construction (e.g., infrastructure upgrades, facility renovations) and environmental services (e.g., remediation, compliance monitoring)
• Conduct client visits to federal agencies to gather intelligence, foster relationships, and identify needs aligned with our expertise
• Support the President and Operations leads in developing branding and marketing strategies, including contributing to and creating content for proposals, social media, and targeted outreach campaigns

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, Construction Science, Environmental Science, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
• Strong interest in federal procurement processes, with basic knowledge of government contractingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or federal contracting; internships in government relations, marketing, or construction are a plus

Pay: $55K – $70K/yr
