O’Tejah McCreath-Plummer
Program Associate, Scholarship & Affordability
What brings me to this work?
All students deserve access and support to achieve their dreams, regardless of their background. I am driven to help students reach their full potential and help bridge the gap towards postsecondary success for underserved groups.
O’Tejah was born in Ontario, Canada, and her strong Jamaican heritage inspires her to work hard and dream big. She grew up mostly in McDonough, Georgia, graduating 3rd in her class from Henry County High School. O’Tejah received her B.S. with honors in Industrial Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Not long after she served as a college adviser at North Atlanta High School, where she had the opportunity to start new school traditions, empathize with mixed-status families, dispel financial aid myths, and help students reach their goals. As a Program Associate, Scholarship & Affordability for Achieve Atlanta, she’s excited to continue to make a positive impact on young lives!
