Will COVID’s shadow follow high school students to college?

We have already seen stark impacts on higher education from the COVID-19 pandemic. Undergraduate enrollment in U.S. colleges fell by 3.1% or 465,300 students over last year, according to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center. The fall of 2021 first-year class had 213,400 fewer students compared to pre-pandemic levels in fall of 2019.
